Aldie W. Morefield Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aldie W. Morefield of Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Banner Morefield and Annie Morefield Hibdon (Laurie); his stepfather Ed Hibdon; his siblings, Dennis "DW" Morefield, Ruth Ann Waddle and Eddie Hibdon; and his stepbrothers, Harold, Bill, Glenn and Teddy Hibdon.

He is survived by: his children, Teena (Chuck Johnson), Tammy (Wayne Wolff) and Tim; his wife Pearl "Marie" Morefield of Lee's Summit; his daughter-in-law Holly Morefield of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson of Big Bear, Ashley Shmalberg (Thomas) of Lawrence, Matt Wolff (Ali) of Pleasant Hill, Eric Wolff of Pleasant Hill, Kyle Wolff of Lee's Summit, Paige and Lexie Morefield of Lee's Summit; his great grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Ashleigh, Devin, Mariah, Jaxon and Levi; his sister Emma Dornan of Versailles, Missouri; and his friend Barbara Zink (Steve Briles). He is also survived by several brother and sisters in-law; several nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ozark Chapel Cemetery or Saint Luke's Home Care & Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
