He is survived by: his children, Ryan Newland (Stacey), Stephanie Berendzen (John) and Megan Lodder (Zachary); his grandchildren, Brooke, Emma and Jacob; his wife Donna; his sister Beverly Cowing (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Kathy Houlton (Terry) and Tim Lathrop; and his close friend JD Cooper.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stonehaus Winery (24607 NE Colbern Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64086).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
