David Barker Obituary

We bid farewell to David Barker of Lees Summit, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2026 at the age of 100. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Barker and Gertrude Barker; his wife Leola Hodtwalker; and his sister Betty Roberts. He is survived by: his close friend Mickey Danberger; and his children, Vicki Sorensen of Lincoln, NE, Scott Barker (Carol) of Lee's Summit, MO and Douglas Barker (Mary) of Seward, NE. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
