With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Taylor of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Bucklin, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David L. Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Doris Taylor and Thelma Taylor (King); and his sister Maysel Houtchens. He is survived by : his wife Betty; his children, Jon Taylor (Norita) and Erin Tellman (Todd); his grandchildren, Reilly "RJ", Seth and Hannah; and his siblings, Diane Taylor and Delbert Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Longview Funeral Home (12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
