She is survived by: her husband Dwight Kerns; her children, Mark Kerns (Takako) and Michelle Lowenstein (Mark); her grandchildren, Chise Kerns, David Kerns, Rina Kerns, Amanda Lowenstein, Angela Lowenstein and Alyson Lowenstein; her great grandchildren, Castiel Candea and Lowen Candea; and her sisters, Janet Hicks, Anna May Mayberry and Shirley Frazee.
