Frances Semler Obituary
We announce the death of Frances Semler of Lees Summit, Missouri, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 92. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Frances will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Frances will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Frances’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Caldwell and Nina Mae Caldwell (Smith); and her siblings, James Caldwell, Marian Plumb and Billie Wells.
She is survived by: her daughter Daryle Heldenbrand (Rick) of Lee's Summit; and her grandson Ryan Heldenbrand.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Wayside Waifs or Alzheimer's Association.
