He is survived by: his wife Carol Hoelzel of Independence, MO; his children, David Hoelzel (Laura) of Kansas City, MO and Catherine Stanley of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, George Alexander Hoelzel and Camila Marie Hoelzel; and his siblings, Jim Hoelzel (Katherine), Bill Hoelzel (Ann), Julie Watton and Mary Cook (Alan).
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Crown Pointe Church.
