He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi L Hook (Henry); his parents, Arthur Hook and Laura May Hook (Blodgett); and his siblings, Charles Hook, Beverly Ann Christian and John Hook.

He is survived by: his sister Barbara Cater (Mike); his daughters, Suzanne Schnorf (Curt) and Roxanne Inderlied (Bill); his grandchildren, Heather Phoenix (Jerry), Angie Kroeger (Mike), Ryan Inderlied (Amy) and Aaron Inderlied (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Justin Phoenix (Ellie), Levi Phoenix, Wyatt Phoenix, Clayton Phoenix, Eli Kroeger, Abby Kroeger, Elise Inderlied, Lily Inderlied, Joel Inderlied Caleb Inderlied and Ethan Inderlied.

Family suggests donations be made to the Kansas City Hospice House or the Smart Rd Church of Christ.
