She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Moody and Norma Moody; her grandson Baden Powell Ratterman; her great grandchild Ignatius Fulton Alexander Lind; and her sisters, Diane Freeman of Dallas and Annamary Stewart of San Antonio, Texas..

She is survived by: her daughters, Doria Lane Staats and Raegan Lamar Ratterman (Pat); and her grandchildren, Brody Ratterman (Rosemarie), Abigail Lind (Matt), Paul Ratterman (Abby), Mary Lowrance (Bailey), Maggie Corkum (John), Gus Ratterman (Gabrielle), Philomena Rookstool (Luke), Max Ratterman, Gemma Ratterman, Rachel Ratterman, Anastasia Ratterman and Zelie Ratterman.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Signature Funerals (406 Bannister Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery Chapel (4900 E Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127).

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to KC Pet Project or Animals Best Friends.
