The family announces the passing of Glen Edward Rogers of Lees Summit, Missouri on October 24, 2026. Glen, born on November 8, 1937, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenwood Rogers and Irene Rogers; and his children, Doug Rogers and Glenda Cueni. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Rogers; his sister Lola Hotujac (Nick); his daughter Patti Light (Ed); his grandchildren, Corey Light (Tara) and Katie Joneslight (Monty); his nephew Mark Hotujac; his niece Lisa Morrissey; and his great grandchildren, Persephone, Archimedes, Aesop and Myla.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. Washington Cemetery (614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Glen's honor to Shriners Children's St. Louis at (shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/st-louis), Rotary International (https://www.rotary.org) or PBS (https://donate.kansascitypbs.org).
