He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Best and Eldon Best; his daughter Susan Kay Fields (Gary Fields); and his sister Linda Jo Rickets. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Weinberg; his daughters, Sherry Best (Will Valk) and Bobbie Jo Howard; his grandson Bryce Howard; and his brother-in-law Jim Rickets. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
