James Alyea Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James O. Alyea and Bertha Alyea (Christensen); and his brother Eric Alyea. He is survived by: his son Jacob Oliver Alyea (Ellen); his grandson Parker of Lee's Summit, MO; his son Kelsey Anne Alyea of Sedalia, MO; his siblings, Kristin Alyea (Bret Fowlkes) of Diamond Head, MS and Dr. Daniel Alyea (Celeste) of Alton, IL; and his nieces, Claire and Rose.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (700 NE Chipman Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64063). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
