He was predeceased by: his parents, James Newman and Kathryn Caldwell; and his wife Diane Thomason. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Caldwell (Alice) and Nancy Kenworthy (Paul); and his siblings' children, Trica DeCamp (Greg) and Jason Caldwell (Brooke). He is also survived by numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elevate Hospice House and the National Parkinson's Foundation.
