He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kirkpatrick and Monique Irene Gentner (McGuire). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Reilly Gentner; his daughters, Sharon Thompson (E. J.) and Janet Torlina (Paul); his grandchildren, Jacob Thompson (Jessica), Kaitlin Thompson and Michael Torlina; and his great grandchildren, Willow and Colt Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church (130 NW Murray Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
