She was predeceased by: her mother Rhoda Kreitlow; her husband Luard LaVerne Ellis; her father Kenneth Kreitlow Sr.; and her brother Kenneth Kreitlow Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Ellis of Grandview, MO, Michael Ellis (Joanne) of Lee's Summit, MO, Sherri Beasley (Brett) of Pleasant Hill, MO and Julie Ellis of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Amy Weixeldorfer (Fred), Chad Beasley (Abby), Erika Ellis, Stacia Cline and Caleb Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Brody Hill, Holden Smith, Max Beasley, Nash Weixeldorfer and Huck Weixeldorfer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church (1200 SW Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64063). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to organizations that fund the cure of Alzheimer's.
