Larry Don Porter Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Larry Don Porter (Lees Summit, Missouri). Larry, born on September 2, 1940, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Imo Gene Thompson Porter and John Al Porter; and his brother Kenny Porter (Ronda). He is survived by: his wife Jo Carol Watson of Atlanta, Missouri.; his brother Ronnie Porter (Mary Lou) of Marshall, Missouri; his son Kyle Porter; his grandchildren, Zach, Noah and Brayden; his great grandchild Andrea Tumialán (Luis) of Paradise Valley; Jo Carol Porter (Watson), Julian, Andreas, Soledad and Lucian. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summit Church (3381 NW Chipman Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the wonderful hospice caregivers at John Knox Village in appreciation of the compassionate care they provided to Larry and his family.
