In the sacred silence of farewell, Marilyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marilyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolland Bryan and Esther M. Bryan (Srock); her siblings, Richard Bryan, Janet Harger and Phyllis Gammon; and her son Kim.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Whitlow (William) of Sunrise Beach and Ronda Wood (Tom Stone) of Lee's Summit; and her daughter-in-law Edie Hays-Bleish of Farley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeland Community Church (913 NE Colbern Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64086). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church (184 Sunset Hills Dr, Sunrise Beach, MO 65079).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lakeland Community Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
