He was predeceased by: his parents, John Broils and Lou Broils; and his brother Richard Broils. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Craig; his children, Gary Broils (Joy) and Gail Gray (Robert); his grandchildren, Jasmine Gardner (Elijah), Ashley Broils, Justin Broils and Alex Broils; and his brother William "Gene" Broils (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John Knox Village (1800 NW O'Brien Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the John Knox Village Foundation (https://www.jkv.org) to support the Parkinson's Connection program assisting with the unique challenges that individuals and families face when dealing with Parkinson's disease.
