She was predeceased by: her husband Dave Melugin; her brother Steve Thomas; and her parents, Jack Thomas and Eva Thomas. She is survived by: her children, David Melugin of Raytown and Lori Finken (Tom) of Rotonda West, Florida.; and her siblings, Jack Thomas (Cindy) of Kingsville and Janet Wallace (Randy) of Buena Vista, Colorado.. She is also survived by her other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lee's Summit VFW Hall (329 SE Douglas St, Lee's Summit, MO 64063).
