With sadness, we share the passing of Sharon Elizabeth Martin (Lees Summit, Missouri). Sharon, born on October 4, 1936, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Forrette (Anita) of San Francisco and Ethel M. Koelfgen (Arnold) of Dallas; her husband David Daniel Martin; her sister Melinda Horner; and her sister-in-law Janet Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Shepard (Rick) and Paul Martin (Emilia); her grandchildren, Lauren Stookey (Daniel), Jacob Shepard (Sadie), Carmen Martin Santos (Enrique) and David Martin Santos; and her great grandchildren, Everly Stookey, Easton Stookey and Rhodes Shepard. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1800 MO-150, Lee's Summit, MO 64082). The inurnment was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Longview Cemetery (12700 Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149).
