It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue McElroy of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Burton Aaron Richards; her husband Wayne Ross McElroy; her daughter Brenda Cantwell; and her sister Kathleen Zell. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Brad McElroy (Brenda) of Paducah and Brian McElroy (Carmen) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her sister Carol Halula of Kansas City, Kansas; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Hill (Matt), Thomas Hunter Cantwell (Emily), Scott Thomas McElroy (Emily), Kristen Kaye Ojard (Connor), Meri Brooke Colburn (Jordan), Sara May McElroy, Allison Leigh Perry (Brandon), Davis Paul McElroy, Megan Elizabeth Blevins (William) and Daniel Wayne McElroy (Kimberley); and her son-in-law Thomas Cantwell of Madisonville. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
