She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson D. Moffett and Gertrude Moffett (Stephenson). She is survived by: her husband John Simpson; her sons, John, Jr., Chris Simpson (Becky) and John Simpson, Jr. (Joanne); and her grandchildren, Alex, Harry, Evan and Becket.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
