The passing of William Edward Lassiter of Lees Summit, Missouri, born in Batesville, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lassiter and Alma Lassiter; and his brothers, Jim Lassiter and Raymond Lassiter (Doyle). He is survived by: his wife Susan Haas; his daughters, Jennifer Lassiter, Kelly Williams and Becky Lassiter; his grandchildren, Olivia Harris (Skylar Cowan), Layla Harris, Luke Williams, Hunter Williams and Emory Sadler; his great grandchild Xavier Lee "Edward" Cowan; his siblings, Carol Ballard, Joanne Wenzel (Gale), Phyllis Rutler (Fred) and Ronnie Lassiter (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Lori Ann Haas, Pat Haas and Jerry Haas. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW Lee's Summit (329 SE Douglas St, Lee's Summit, MO 64063).
