He was predeceased by: his parents, Yale Phillips and Clarice Phillips (Price); his son Kevin Phillips; his mother-in-law Florence Tietjen; his siblings, Jerry Phillips, Jim Phillips (Sharon) and Joan Qualls; and his brother-in-law Ron Johnson.
He is survived by: his niece Denise; his nephew Mike; his wife Ginny Phillips (Tietjen) of Lee's Summit, MO; his son Zack Phillips; his daughter-in-law June Solomon; his sister Barbara Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Bill Qualls, Neil Tietjen (Debi), John Tietjen (Debbie) and Roylene Phillips; his grandson Jordan Locke; and his great grandchild Kevin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
