She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shields and Lorene Shields (Bright); her siblings, Donald Shields, Richard Shields, Tommy Shields and Virginia Austin; and her son Shoan Parsons.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Parsons; her children, Staci Looney (Richard) of Clinton, MO, Jeff Parsons (Bonnie) of Chilhowee, MO, Justin Parsons (Brandy) of Holden, MO and Shane Parsons of Holden, MO; and her siblings, Ed Shields (Sandy) of Chilhowee, MO, Leonard Shields (Margaret) of Chilhowee, MO, Jayne Bywater of Sierra Vista, AZ, Donna Sherron (Tom) of Smithfield, NC and Cindy Hill (Darrel) of Chilhowee, MO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
