Hugh Sperry Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Hugh Sperry of Leeton, Missouri. Hugh, born on December 21, 1937, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Logan Sperry Sr. and Effie Carolina Julian-Sperry; his brothers, Bill, Tom and Floyd Jr. Sperry; his wife Janice Montgomery-Sperry; his son David Sperry; his grandson Derek Brown; and his son-in-law Kenny Peterman.
He is survived by: his daughter Natalie Carolina (Joe Goth) of Clinton, Missouri; his sisters, Martha Jane Hickman and Nancy Sue Burton; and his children, Zoe Ann Butt (Mike) of Salisbury, Missouri, Sarah Peterman of Bedford, Iowa, Randy Montgomery (Jymme) and Dennis Montgomery (Dee). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, along with extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Family suggest contributions to the Tebo Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home.
