He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus McCoy and Elizabeth McCoy (Cleland); his wife Mary Ann Thomas; and his siblings, Don McCoy and Carolyn Grice.
He is survived by: his children, Rowena LaFavor of Leeton, MO, Emma Jones of Leeton, MO, David McCoy (Carrie) of LaMonte, MO and Tim McCoy (Kathy) of DeSoto, MO; his adoptive children, Theresa McCoy of Sedalia, MO, Daniel McCoy of Columbus, OH, Rosie McCoy of Columbus, OH, Donald McCoy of Las Vegas, NV and Stephanie Rohaus (Jameson) of Deepwater, MO; and his siblings, Joan Hall, Glen McCoy (Carolyn), Patricia McCoy, Rita McGirl (Bud), Phyllis Raymond and Helen Geurra (Rick). He is also survived by his children, 15 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrensburg Veterans Assistants League and left in care of the funeral home.
