He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Smithey, Sr. (Darlies (Miller) Smithey) and Darlies; his son Dave Smithey; and his sisters, Doris and JoAn.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Smithey (Stinson) of Leslie; his children, Lonnie Smithey, III, Mark Roe, Geneen Roe, Kimberly Kiely and Kelly Finn (John); and his siblings, Lois Stalland (Ray), Ronnie Smithey (Leann) and Donnie Smithey (Linda). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
