She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Meter and Maxine Van Meter (Holbert); her husband Dr. Stephen Joseph Buchok; and her siblings, Kevin Van Meter and Bonnie Jansen.

She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Joseph Buchok (Katie) of St. Peters and Andrew Stephen Buchok (Callie) of Lubbock, Texas; her grandchildren, Emily, William, Oakley and Liam; and her siblings, Karen Lake of Sedalia, Missouri, Kent Van Meter of Alliance and Allen Van Meter of Sedalia, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lewistown.
