With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Rasa of Lexington, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edgar Rasa to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rasa, and Laura Rasa, Sr. (Wagner); his sister Carol Wiles; his brother-in-law Bill Wiles; his nephew Kenny Rasa; his great-nephew Garrett Rasa; and his great-niece Nicole Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Rasa (Mays); his daughters, Patricia Heugel Jr. (Dannie) of Higginsville, MO, Kimberly Thompson (Brent) of Dover, MO and Beth Edwards (Jason) of Corder, MO.; his grandchildren, Jessica Urfer (Alex), Matthew Heugel (Madison), Dustin Thompson, Kelsey Thompson, Gavin Edwards, Trevor Edwards and Davis Edwards; his great grandchildren, Walker Urfer and Stella Heugel; his brothers, Robert Rasa, Jr. (Bernice), Donald Rasa (Barbara) and Norman Rasa (Susan); and his nephew David Rasa (Christy).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1501 Lipper St, Higginsville, MO 64037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
