He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Evans and Elsie Evans (Kennedy); his granddaughter Brittany Evans; his great grandchild Bradley Breshears; and his siblings, Johnny Evans, Larry Evans and Donna Burkhart.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Evans of Lexington, Missouri; his sons, Bryan Evans (Stacy) of Platte City and Bruce Evans (Angela) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and his brother Kenny Evans of Warsaw, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
