He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Sharon and Naomi Sharon (Morrell); his wife Nancy Sharon; and his siblings, Connie Gass, Deana Wiggins and Buddy Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Durkee (Dawnah) of Shawnee Mission, KS, Matthew Sharon (Pam) of Eldon, MO and Amy Buckallew (Jeremy) of Lexington, MO; and his grandchildren, Jade, Tyler, Kendall, Chandler, Jamie, Keaton, Collin, Jordan, Josh, Moriah, Mark, Jason, Ashley, Marissa, Blair and Samantha. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials are made to the Disabled American Veterans.
