She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearley McElwee and Eula McElwee (Anson); and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her sons, James E. Palmer, Jr. (Carolyn Hanes) and Jon Eric Palmer (Cayce Palmer); her grandchildren, Chance, Turner, Ian, Avery and William; and her brother Leroy McElwee.
