Ionia May Phillips Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ionia May Phillips (Liberal, Missouri), who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Hizar and Ivernia Hizar (Fitchpatrick); her husband Roger Phillips; and her great grandchild Caitlyn May Burchett. She is survived by : her children, Clinton Phillips, Lora McWilliams (Lonnie) and Lynette Emmerson (Brent); her grandchildren, Charity Burchett (Craig), Chris Waring, Josh Ablian, John Emmerson (Kassidy) and Amanda Emmerson; her great grandchildren, Coby (Kinsie), Cooper Burchett, Camryn Burchett and Kennedy Emmerson; and her great great grandchild Kooper Schaub. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
If you would like to make a memorial donation in lieu of flowers the family suggests the Missouri Free Will Baptist Youth Camp (Camp Niangua) in care of the funeral home.
