She was predeceased by : her parents, Armond Monroe Porter and Cora May Porter (Betty); her husband Ed Smith; and her brothers, Paul Porter and James Porter (Leta Porter).

She is survived by : her siblings, Colleen Kauble (Don) of Lincoln, MO, Lee Porter (Sandy) of Liberal, MO and Charles Porter (Betty) of Arma, KS; and her close friends, James and Athena Sherman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
