She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swigart and Ruth Swigart; and her siblings, Dorothy Smothers, Richard Swigart, Donald Swigart and James Swigart.
She is survived by: her husband James Barton; her children, Jeff Barton (Jennifer) of Salvisa, Randy Barton (Chris) of Perry, Iowa and Tammy Barton (Ann Dahl) of Liberty, Missouri; her grandchildren, Sarah Anne Long (Seth) of Salvisa, Kyle Barton of Union Mill and Kevin Barton of Des Moines, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Jayden Champagne, Orion, Odin Barton and Aiden Barton; and her sister Debbie Moore (Jerry).
