He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Hightower; his sister Martha Williams of St. Louis; his sons, Brian Petty (Pam), Arthur Petty (Mary), Russell Petty (Stephanie) and John Petty (Kim); his grandchildren, David Petty (Kathy), Laura Allen (Tim), Drew Petty (Sara), Glenn Petty (Jeff), Joanna Unruh (Caleb), Scott Petty (Jordan), Ryan Petty, Lisa Oliphant (Morgan), Joshua Petty (Bethanie), Aaron Petty (Ashley), Nathan Petty (Briana) and Adam Petty (Kyli); and his great grandchildren, Krista, Becca, Tara Petty, Harlie Appleberry, Jeremy, Weston, Dallas (Hurst), Owen, Paisley Allen, Clay, Reed, Leif, Cole, Ivy Unruh, Ephraim, Malachi, Josiah, Maelynn, Brielle Petty, Lincoln, Mia Oliphant, Olivia, Holly Petty, Micah Petty, James, Audrey Petty, Paxton and Hudson Petty.
