She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kenneth Epperson and Florence Elizabeth Minks Epperson; her spouse Vaughn "Cotton" Merchant; her brother Harold Epperson; and her son-in-law Dale Rapp.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn K. Rapp of Liberty and Ken Merchant (Kathy) of Corpus Christi, TX; her grandchildren, Michael S. Tuck (Julie) of Smithville, MO, Christina L. Tuck of Liberty and B. J. Tuck (Sky) of Columbia, MO; her great grandchildren, Courtney Tuck, Katie Chamberlane (Mike), Corey Tuck and Jude King; and her great great grandchild Sophie Chamberlane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
