He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Elmore and Betty Elmore (Sandra Sue). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Elmore; his children, Michael Elmore (Rachael Elmore), Jarrol Elmore Jr. (Teresa Elmore) and Jacqueline Ortiz (Richard Ortiz); his stepson Sean Davis; his stepgrandchildren, Stephen, Shaina, Ryan, Rachel, Timothy, Olivia and Neva; and his siblings, Dennis Elmore (Linda), Nancy Pannell (Roy) and Marcy Alonzo (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
