She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Atkins, Jr.; and her parents, Leon Murray and Rose Geraldine Murray. She is survived by: her brother Keith Murray (Pam) of Freeman; her children, Doug Atkins (Kathy) of Greenville, Christie Atkins of Kansas City and Gregg Atkins (Leslie) of Kansas City, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Jackie, Alexis, Nate, Bailey, Drew, Reagan and Brylee Atkins; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Mason, Addison, Zoey, Harper and MaryJo.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Floral Hills Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ascend Health Hospice.
