She is survived by: her husband Hermann Schmidt; her children, Marlene Selley (Rod Selley), Eric Schmidt, Melissa McAvan (Patrick McAvan) and Jeff Schmidt; her sisters, Kathleen Dorothy and Ada Mathews; and her grandchildren, Jacob Schmidt, Amber Selley, Allan Selley, Zachary Selley, Emily McAvan, Sarah McAvan and Anna McAvan. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
