Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois Lorraine Stewart of Liberty, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 84, on May 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Madge Irene Buchanan (Havens) and Wiley J. Buchanan; and her brother James Buchanan. She is survived by: her sons, John Stewart (Tammy) of Liberty, Missouri. and Michael Stewart (Mary) of Liberty, Missouri.; and her grandchildren, Sydney Bjoraker (Alex), Johnna Stewart (Jonathan), Michael "Mickey" Stewart, Kathryn "Katey" Stewart (Jared Moege) and Amber Scholman. She is also survived by animals, including dogs, cats.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home (103 NE Mill St, Leon, IA 50144). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Decatur Cemetery.
The family requests donations be made to an animal rescue organization, a cause that Lois felt strongly about.
