We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 97, Maureen Porter of Liberty, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Wilhoit and Anna "Nancy" Wilhoit; her husband John Porter; her brother John Wilhoit (Ursula); and her sibling's children, Karen Hoffman and Blake Wilhoit.
She is survived by: her son Sam Porter (Kris); her sister Alice Hoffman (John); her grandchildren, Amanda Porter, John K. Porter and James R. Porter; her niece Julie Eveker; her great-nieces, Elizabeth Hoffman and Sarah Eveker; and her great-nephew Evan Eveker.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137.
