He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Rodney Bracher; his in-laws, Burl and Pearl Evans; his wife Phyllis Marie Parks; his daughters, Latisha Vander Pluym (Tim), Katrina Hayes (Evan) and Rachel Parks (Blake); his grandson Tryce Gunn; his parents, Robert Edward and Phyllis Fay Parks; and his brothers, Robert Douglas Parks and Brendan Todd Parks (Shawna).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hill & Son Funeral Home (213 W 6th St, Appleton City, MO 64724). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rockville Cemetery (15542 SE County Road 1036).
