Richard Burnett Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 77, Richard Burnett of Liberty, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Burnett and Edna Mae Burnett (Broyles); his nephew Joseph Cody Stanley; and his cousin Kenny Prieb. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Dawn Burnett of Kansas City, MO and Ashley Beth Fried (Burnett) of Kansas City, MO; and his siblings, Linda Mattoon, Pat Pierce, Steve Burnett, Kit McCrary, Jan Stanley and Jim Burnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
We would like to encourage memorial contributions be made to the North Kansas City Schools Education Fund- Specifically under the heading of Support Student Success in Richard's name.
