He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Fleckal and Frances Fleckal (Leitha); and his brother-in-law Harold "Butch" Reno. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Ashley Beecher (Brandon) of Lee's Summit and Jonathan "Jon" Fleckal (Anita) of Kansas City; his brothers, Roger and Robert "Bob"; and his granddaughters, Aubrey and Jadyn Fleckal. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
