Sharla Lorraine Swope Obituary
We announce the death of Sharla Lorraine Swope of Liberty, Missouri, born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 57. Sharla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joan Blackburn, Virginia Strifler and Lemoyne Blackburn; and her parents-in-law, Ivan "Bear" Baker and Olga Baker.
She is survived by: her parents, Marla Blackburn and Steven Blackburn; her sons, Zachary Swope and Thomas Swope; her brother Christopher Blackburn (Denise); her nephews, Jacob and Joshua; her niece Sarah; her sister Nicole Blackburn; and her niece Joann.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Kansas City (7310 NW Hampton Rd, Kansas City, MO 64152).
