He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles and Hazel; and his siblings, Lois, Don and Shirley.
He is survived by : his wife Rosie Bartels (Schmidt); his children, Ellen, David (Christina), Liz and Nick; and his grandchildren, Noah, Avery, Nicholas and Jacob. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
