He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Hicks and Rose Gray; his daughters, Barbara Hicks Pratcher and Baby Sharell Johnson; his brothers, Donald Tucker, Sr. and Maurice Hicks; his grandchildren, Deidra and Datrae; and his sister-in-law Barbara Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Zelma Hicks (Mac Williams); his children, Theo Anderson (Sharil) of St. Louis, Terry Hicks, Jr. of Anderson, Darrell Johnson of Anderson, Tremayne Williams of Kalamazoo, Shaun Hicks (Regis) of Virginia Beach, Kim Johnson of Anderson, Denise Williams of Kalamazoo, Shamika Williams of Kalamazoo, Yolanda Hicks (John) of New Madrid and Tekela Hicks-Duff of Lilbourn; his siblings, James Tucker (Beverly) of Highland, Harold Tucker (Carolyn) of Elizabethtown, Ralph Tucker (Brenda) of Elizabethtown, Diana Walker (Anthony) of Memphis, Cheryl Hicks of Oklahoma City, Lori Hicks of Oklahoma City and Marsha Hicks of Oklahoma City; and his cousin Marilyn Jimerson. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
