Susan touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Susan’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Fields. She is survived by: her children, Richard Fields (Holly), Michael Fields, Jennifer O'laughlin (Steve), Diana Esslinger (Ben) and Tom Wilson (Diane). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her surviving siblings and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (100 Thompson Dr, Troy, MO 63379). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's honor to either Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research or the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
